Gas tax reduction to take effect Monday

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz has signed the bill that calls for the reduction of the gas tax by 23 agorot per liter. The reduction will take effect on Monday.

By signing the bill, Steinitz has implemented one of the economic relief measures that he has agreed upon with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week. The measures aim to stop commodity prices from rising further. (Avital Lahav)
