Iranian nuclear scientist survived assassination attempt, appointed VP
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appointed Fereydoon Abbasi to be his new Vice President and Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. He will replace Ali Akbar Salehi who was appointed Foreign Affairs Minister.
Abbasi, an Iranian nuclear scientist, survived an attempted assassination on his life three months ago in Teheran. (Dudi Cohen)
