Barak: Egypt uprising different from Iran's revolution of '79

Defense Minister Ehud Barak told ABC's Christiane Amanpour that he does not believe that "something similar to the Iranian events 30 years ago is happening now. I think that the Egyptians, they have their own way."

Barak also said that election in Egypt should not take place immediately, because if a ballot is held within the next few months, the only movement that has a chance of winning is the Muslim Brotherhood. "That should be avoided in Egypt because that could be a catastrophe for the whole region," he said. (Ynet)
