Gantz: Smiles end here, hard work begins

Major-General Benny Gantz left his home in the central city of Rosh Haayin on Monday morning on his way to the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, where he was to be promoted to the rank of lieutenant-general and sworn in as the Israel Defense Forces' 20th chief of staff.

Gantz, who was accompanied by his wife, said as he walked out of the house that "the smiles end today and the hard work begins this afternoon, and we'll do it." (Boaz Fyler)
