IKEA fire caused by short circuit

The mass fire that burned down the IKEA branch in Netanya was caused by a short circuit after rain waters infiltrated the electrical system. The roof's tar consequently caught fire.
The police investigation into the circumstances of the fire has been closed. Fire Services will continue checking why the site's fire systems did not operate. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
