Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen, who was presented at IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz's swearing-in ceremony, addressed the events in Egypt and said that "our relations with the Egyptian army haven't changed. Friendship at such a challenging time is very important."
Mullen said he had met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and discussed "the current challenges". (Omri Efraim)
