Hamas: Government's resignation bears no change
The Hamas movement said Monday that the resignation of the Palestinian government lacks any meaning and bears no reform or change. Earlier on Monday, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad delivered the government's resignation letter to President Mahmoud Abbas.
Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said that "no matter how this government changes its skin – it shall always be illegal as it is not the people's choice." He called on the Palestinian people and the international community not to cooperate with the new cabinet. (Elior Levy)
