Spain reports detention of diplomat in Tehran

Spain says a senior Spanish diplomat in Tehran was detained and held for four hours and that Iran's ambassador in Madrid was summoned for an explanation.
A Foreign Ministry official told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Ignacio Perez Cambra, the Number three diplomat at the Spanish Embassy in Tehran, was stopped while riding in a car to the embassy in Tehran on Monday and taken to a police station. (AP)
