Gaza vicinity to continue receiving tax benefits

Residents of Sderot and the western Negev in the Gaza vicinity will be eligible for a 20% tax rebate in 2011 as is 2010, the Knesset Finance Committee decided on Wednesday.
The Tax Authority explained that the benefits, applicable only to those who make under $56,584 a year, are being given to residents due to the security situation in the south. (Zvi Lavi)
