Obama 'aware' of Iranian warships heading to Suez Canal

US President Barack Obama is aware of Iran's plans for two of its warships to sail through the Suez Canal, the White House said on Wednesday.

"We're aware of it," White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters. He declined further comment on the issue, which has raised Israeli concerns, and referred questions to the US State Department. (Reuters)
