The Union of Local Authorities Chairman Shlomo Bohbot announced his intention to run for the Labor Party leadership during a radio interview at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. Bohbot said: "When we approach the elections we'll have to choose the most suitable man so that we don't settle for 10 or 12 mandates but get over 20 mandates."
"I believe that at this point the Labor Party chairman should build the party and not run for prime minister," he added. (Attila Somfalvi)
