Report: Gulf foreign ministers to meet Thursday, discuss Bahrain

Gulf Arab foreign ministers will meet in Bahrain on Thursday evening to discuss the unrest in the Gulf island kingdom, the Qatar state news agency said.

Thousands of overwhelmingly Shiite protesters, emboldened by uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia, have taken to Bahrain's streets demanding more say in a country where a Sunni Muslim family rules over a majority Shiite population. (Reuters)
