PM: Iran trying to expand influence, we'll increase defense budget

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Iran's intentions to send warships through the Suez Canal are a move he defines as "an Iranian attempt to expand its influence in the region".
At the opening if the weekly government meeting Netanyahu noted that Israel "sees the growing defense needs and increases the defense budget accordingly." (Ronen Medzini)
