Israir Airlines will operate two weekly flights from Tel Aviv to the French city of Nice and back, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from April 1 to October 26.
According to the company estimates, some 20,000 Israelis are expected to vacation in Nice this year – a 10% rise compared to last year.
The company says Nice has become very popular among Israeli tourists. "This year the demand for this destination began in January, and this is something we have not seen in previous years," says Dori Shushan, Israir's vice president of marketing.
The flight's price begins at $429.
