4 suspects in 2009 lynch of Arik Karp claim innocence

None

The defense attorneys of four youths accused of being accessories to the murder of Arik Karp are seeking to clear the charges, stating that the defendants' confessions on the eve of the crime were not enough to convict them.

Karp was lynched by a group of youths on the Tel Aviv boardwalk in 2009. The legal battle is currently focused on the interpretation of the Good Samaritan Law, which requires citizens to aid anyone who is injured or attacked. (Naama Cohen-Freidman)
