PM: Freedom of vote on probe into leftist organizations

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced during a Likud faction meeting on Monday that he will allow the faction members to vote on the establishment of a parliamentary inquiry commission into the activity and funding of left-wing Israeli organizations.
Some Likud members expressed their concern that this decision might cause the proposals by Knesset Members Danny Danon and Faina Kirshenbaum to be dropped due to lack of votes. (Roni Sofer)
