Issawiya: Residents clash with Border Guard officers

Residents from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya clashed with Border Guard officers, after they attempted to inspect one of the residents. Dozens of locals hurled stones at the force and at civilian vehicles passing through the French Hill-Ma'aleh Adumim road.

The force reacted by shooting in the air twice, and after the suspect began to fled, they shot him once, lightly injuring him in his arm. The suspect managed to flee and the rioters hurled four Molotov cocktails at the force. The force is attempting to disperse the rioters with crowd dispersal means. (Yair Altman)
