Demjanjuk threatens hunger strike

John Demjanjuk says he will go on hunger strike if a Munich state court does not pursue more evidence that he says could exonerate him of charges he served as a Nazi death camp guard.

He entered court Tuesday holding a sign reading "1627" - the number of a Soviet investigative file on him the defense says has hundreds of pages of details - and accused the court of staging a "political show trial." (AP)
