UN Security Council convening over Libya situation

The UN Security Council is convening at this time to discuss developments in Libya. At the opening of the meeting the German Ambassador called on the council to act "swiftly" in response to reports of hundreds of casualties and live fire being used by Libyan security forces on protestors. (AFP)
