US military: Pirates shoot dead 4 American hostages

Pirates shot dead four American hostages on a yacht they had seized near Somalia, the US military said on Tuesday.

The military said American forces discovered the dead hostages after responding to gunfire and boarding the pirated vessel, the Quest, the US military's Central Command said. (Reuters)
