Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the recent uprisings in several Arab countries and said that "we all want to see freedom and democracy flourish in the Arab world, it's good for peace, prosperity and security."
At an event marking Natan Sharansky's Aliyah to Israel, Netanyahu added: "Supporters of democracy must be strengthened, not just in the Arab world, but also and especially in Iran, since it is trying to take advantage of the regional earthquake that is shaking up all areas between Afghanistan and Maghreb."
