Palestinian municipalities to boycott US establishments

Jerusalem portfolio holder in Fatah Hatem Abdel Kader announced that 28 Palestinian municipalities in the Jerusalem District have decided to boycott US establishments active within them, in response to the US veto of the condemnation of construction in the settlements.

Abdel Kader noted that among the participating municipalities are A-Ram, Anata, Azariya and Abu Dis. The most prominent of the US organizations to be boycotted is USAID, which works on infrastructure and education projects in those municipalities. (Elior Levy)
