Chilean miners arrive in Israel

Twenty-three of the men who survived the mine collapse in Chile last years have arrived in Israel along with their spouses after accepting Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov's invitation to visit the Holy Land. The miners will visit holy sites and meet President Shimon Peres during their one-week trip.

Some of the miners told Ynet that they are very excited and happy to arrive in Israel, and cannot wait to travel within it. (Boaz Fyler)
