Sources: Plan for Palestinian unity government exists

Palestinian sources told the London-based al-Hayat that the two rival Palestinian factions had established plans to unite in one government under Prime Minister Salam Fayyad. The plan has already received approval from Palestinian Authority officials and was presented to both Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
According to the plan, Hamas and Fatah will both keep their authorities in Gaza and the West Bank, and a date for elections will be decided upon soon. (Elior Levy)
