Pro-Bedouin protesters gather in Beersheba

Some 200 protesters have gathered in Beersheba to demand more rights for Bedouins. The protesters, among whom are many residents of the illegal village of al-Arakib, are calling on the government to stop the violence they say is being used against Bedouins and instead engage in negotiations. They are also demanding recognition of villages and a stop to the destruction of homes. (Ilana Curiel)
