Mofaz slams state for giving up on Shalit

The chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Shaul Mofaz, met with students in Tiberias and called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to release kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit.
"A state that gives up on one of its sons is destined to have its sons give up on it," Mofaz said. "Israel must release Shalit, and it knows how to deal with the worst of terrorists." (Roni Sofer)
