TA mayor condemns rightist protest plans

Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai used the Twitter network to slam a protest march scheduled to take place in Jaffa next week. "I strongly condemn attempts by right-wing elements outside Jaffa to disrupt common routine by provocations," he said. He noted the Municipality will work to legally prevent the march and called on the protestors to exercise restraint.

The Ajami neighborhood committee's chairman also slammed the plan which he said was aimed at inciting. (Yoav Zitun)
