US: Gaddafi has lost Libyan people's confidence
Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi has zero credibility left and has lost the confidence of Libya's people, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Friday.
"Colonel Gaddafi has lost the confidence of his people," Carney told a news conference, after announcing unilateral sanctions against Libya and the suspension of US diplomatic ties with the North African state. (Reuters)
