France suspends activity of Libyan embassy, evacuates employees
France announced that it has suspended the activity of its Tripoli-based embassy. According to the report, embassy employers were evacuated from Libya back to France, prompted by the riots and violence directed at protestors by Muammar Gaddafi's regime.
Both Canada and the UK took similar measures earlier Saturday. (AFP)
