Government approves NIS 500M for health system

The government approved a plan to reinforce the public healthcare system costing over NIS 500 million ($137 million). They plan's goal is to minimize the hospitalization overload at hospitals by adding 960 beds, 160 more positions for doctors and more MRI machines.

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "For almost a decade we haven't added more hospital beds. Today we're here to change that." (Ronen Medzini)
