Report: Arab League chief to run for Egypt presidency

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa intends to run for the Egyptian presidency, the state news agency MENA said on Sunday through its text message service.

A judicial committee appointed by the country's military rulers on Saturday unveiled proposals for constitutional amendments that loosened restrictions on who could run for the presidency. (Reuters)
