Shehadeh assassination report: Results unforeseen and undesired
The report by the Special Investigatory Commission which investigated the targeted killing of Salah Shehadeh that took place in Gaza in 2002, and led to the deaths of 13 civilians determined Sunday that the results of the attack were "unforeseen, undesired and unintended".
In the report presented to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the commission members noted that there was "no disregard for human life" and that the operation was carried out operation is carried out in accordance with the principles and rules set out by Israeli and international law".
