The "Boycott Bill," which calls to indict Israelis who are involved in the organization of anti-Israeli boycotts, was approved in a first reading.
Before being approved, the original bill was revised following a debate at the Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee. The new version calls for the prosecution of the individuals who organize boycotts, not those who participate in them. A date for the presentation of the bill in front of the Knesset plenum is yet to be set. (Roni Sofer)
