Salute to security forces cancelled following Samaria clashes
Following clashes earlier today, the Shomron Regional Council held an emergency meeting at Havat Gilad Monday where they decided to cancel an event to salute the security forces which was set to take place in there in two days time.
Shomron Regional Council head Gershon Mesika declared that the houses destroyed Monday would be rebuilt with council funding. Mesika addressed claims stating that rubber bullets were fired at residents and said that "a line had been crossed". He noted that he had appealed to the Internal Security Minister demanding that whoever gave the order to shoot should be dismissed. (Yair Altman)
