Palestinians: IDF kills man in northern Gaza strip
Palestinian sources reported Monday that one man was killed by IDF fire in the northern Gaza strip. According to reports the dead man, Amr Maaruf, 30, was collecting rubble from the ruins of the Dugit settlement when he was shot.
Medical sources stated that the ambulance that arrived on the scene found the body with small firearm wounds. Maaruf was evacuated to a Gaza hospital. The IDF confirmed reports of a shooting and noted that Maaruf had approached the border fence. (Elior Levy)
