Shepherd killed in southern blast named
Jamal Maabada, a 16-year-old Bedouin boy, was named as the shepherd killed earlier in an ammunition blast in the Negev. According to estimates, he was playing with a 105-mm shell which exploded.
A police inquiry revealed that the explosion did not take place in a fire practice area, as estimated earlier. (Ilana Curiel)
