TV: Libyan leader picks intel chief to talk to east

Muammar Gaddafi has appointed the head of Libya's foreign intelligence service to speak to the leadership of the eastern region, which is no longer under the Libyan leader's control, al-Jazeera television reported.

Monday's television report, which quoted one of al Jazeera's correspondents, named the head of the foreign intelligence service as Bouzaid Dordah. (Reuters)
