US ships off Libya preparing for 'contingencies'

US ships are being moved to waters closer to Libya in order to prepare for contingencies of a chiefly humanitarian nature, a White House spokesman said on Tuesday.
Spokesman Jay Carney also added, however, that "we aren't taking any options off the table." (Reuters)
