Human rights organization: 6,000 killed in Libya uprising

Some 6,000 people were killed in Libya since violent protest spread in the country against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, according to a report published by a human rights organization.

 

According to the report, at least half were killed during clashes in the capital city of Tripoli and an additional 2,000 in the city of Benghazi. (AFP)
