40 die in road accidents in India's mountains
Police say two vehicles have fallen into gorges in India's mountainous north, killing at least 40 people.
Police officer Madhusudan says a truck carrying a wedding party flipped over on a curve in the road and rolled into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district on Wednesday night. Madhusudan says rescuers have found 33 bodies. He says another seven people were killed in a similar accident in the area, also on Wednesday night. (AP)
