LSE's head resigns over school's links with Libya

The director of the London School of Economics and Political Science has resigned over links with Libya's ruling family, including accepting funds from a charity run by a son of Muammar Gaddafi.

The prestigious university's council also said on Thursday it had commissioned an independent inquiry into the school's relationship with Libya and with Saif al-Islam, Gaddafi's son. (Reuters)
