Report: Hamas leaders in Gaza leave for Damascus to discuss Shalit
Palestinian sources in the Gaza strip reported Friday that a delegation of Hamas leaders led by Mahmoud al-Zahar and Khalil al-Haya left for Damascus to discuss a number of issues with the Hamas leadership including kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit.
The delegation was supposed to leave for Syria a month ago but the visit was cancelled due to the riots in Egypt. (Elior Levy)
