Report: Fierce fighting resumes in eastern Libyan city
Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's forces have launched another attack on rebels in the eastern city of Zawiyah, Sky News reports. Fierce fighting is said to be taking place in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, people were forced to take shelter in a mosque as two tanks were engulfed by fire nearby. The al-Jazeera network reported that more than 50 people were killed in clashes in the city on Friday, including he commander of the armed opposition forces. (Ynet)
