Magnitude 6.3 quake hits northern Chile

A magnitude 6.3 earthquake hit northern Chile on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake struck about 37 miles (60 km) east of Arica, Chile, at a depth of 75 miles (120 km), it said. (Reuters)
