Clinton: US willing to assist Egypt in transition to democracy

In a phone conversation with Egypt's new Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, US State Secretary Hillary Clinton stated that the US is willing to assist the country in its transition to democracy and supply it with economic aid.
In their conversation the two also discussed US efforts to rescue Egyptian citizens trapped in Libya. The US is set to rescue 328 Egyptians from Libya. (Yitzhak Benhorin)
