Jerusalem: Police disperse haredi protest on highway 1
Dozens of haredim attempted to block highway 1 at the entrance to Jerusalem Sunday night using burning garbage cans. Police forces at the scene forcefully cleared the road and arrested one person for rioting.
The haredim were protesting the arrest of eight haredim who were arrested during protests held against archeological digs in the northern and central Israel. (Yair Altman)
