Netanyahu meets with families of Carmel fire victims

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has met with representatives of the families bereaved by the Carmel fire in anticipation of the discussion that is set to be held by the Knesset's State Control Committee. He was accompanied by the chairman of the committee, MK Yoel Hasson.

Netanyahu's conversation with the victims' families comes after he drew much much criticism by announcing on Sunday that he will not take part in the committee discussion of December's disaster because the bereaved families were also invited to the event. (Roni Sofer)
