Additional suspect arrested in Shalit donation fraud case

A third suspect was arrested on the charge that he stole donations that were raised for the family of captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. The suspect was arrested following an investigation that was conducted by the police's Anti Fraud Unit. The Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion will be asked to extend his remand.

A 57-year-old man from Holon was arrested last week for collecting donations for the Shalit family, but failing to transfer them the money. (Eli Senyor)
