Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a discussion at the Knesset's State Control Committee that while he wanted to meet with all of the families bereaved by the Carmel fire, not all of them showed up at the meeting. "I told the families that the word rehabilitation is misleading, because there is no true rehabilitation for a bereaved family," he said. "It is like being disabled but going without a disability permit."
His speech was interrupted by some victims' families who said that they were not invited to the meeting, which took place prior to the committee discussion. (Roni Sofer)
