The Knesset plenum passed in first reading a bill that imposes sanctions on companies that boycott Israeli settlements or products.
Thirty two members of Knesset from the coalition voted in favor and 12 MKs voted against the bill, which is aimed at harming Israeli companies that won tenders in the new Palestinian city of Rawabi, on condition that they do not supply services or sell merchandise to settlements in the West bank.
